I've decided to try dressing like a person that might want to go out in public less schlubbely
Shirts with collars.
Clean shaven (necessary for good mask seal) and coats and hats that are not not just outdoorsman functional nonsense.
I picked up this wool cap in Seattle a few years ago, and this wool #Filson vest is from my dad's collection

I've been a longhair off and on since the late 80s
When it's long, usually tied back, often a hat
Decided to try letting my #FreakFlag fly recently
Found this cap in my collection
Almost as functional as a ball cap to tame fly away hairs, but a tad more stylish
With the right color cap and a more whimsical jacket, I think I can pull it off

This hat has a touch of frivolity too. Found a jingle bell last Christmas decoration time. I can judge my #PorchBeer status by how much it jingles.
Once the jigging starts, she really gets a ringing.

While this hat could well serve it's function on the plaines, it is in very nice condition.
I only donn it with a sense of frivolity.

Sunny, but chilly means my lobes need attention

The black wool cap, with a small bill is quite useful on or near the water
Last summer's flirtation with muttonchops worked okay with it.
It came from my late father's collection

I've found that I can't wear the grizzled lighthouse Keeper hat when I'm clean shaven.
Beards and masks don't play well together.

Mom's sun hat was the best hat for the conditions this day
