Hello #fediverse
I am happy to share my blog has reached 20k+ all time views.
I started around 2020 as a creative outlet in my boring life and it has transformed into an archive of knowledge.
I am not a frequent poster these days, as seen by the blog posts' dates but it fills me with joy whenever I post something.
It's a piece of history, research time and effort being preserved in a textual format for me to go back and read.
If you'd like to check it out:

Eh, they don't really play nice with each other on a protocol level. Also different tools for different things.
Reddit vs Twitter in my mind. Great that they both can federate tho among themselves.I just wish there were better options for Fedi blogs then WordPress. Eh, I wish #hashnode or #devto would add that to them.

My phone seriously glitched today, resulting in no service the whole work day, and it was all I could think of. I accomplished nothing of significance most of the day (unless a consistently elevated heart rate is significant 😬)
After getting to the <Phone Co> store this afternoon to replace the SIM, I did nearly complete a new #GitHub Action for updating a #Hashnode publication from a repo, so at least I get one gold star for the day 🤷♂️

Thinking about switching my personal tech #blog from #hashnode to #ghost / Ghost(Pro), as this seems to be what all the cool kids are using these days. However, I don’t want to self-host Ghost, as I don’t want to deal with running updates and signing up to a bunch of extra services to get newsletter sending etc. to work. As I am not planning to introduce any premium tiers or anything like that, I wonder if any of the advantages of ghost over Hashnode are even relevant to me, especially considering the price of at least $9 a month for Ghost.
What do people recommend these days? Should I stick to what I already have with hashnode (at least until they inevitably turn evil one day, as apparently all services must), or is there a compelling reason to switch to ghost today?

I've started a new blog on #hashnode and a series about my utterly useless journey in writing a UI (#TUI to be accurate) SDK for my #Python module: the pygamelib. If you're interested in the programming diary of my failures, frustrations, and hopefully success, you can read the first installment here:

It was pretty easy to import dev.to articles and I like the result so far.

I'm considering cross-posting my blog articles to #hashnode (https://hashnode.com/).
Does anyone have experience with it (particularly using it for cross-posting, with the canonical URL still being my site)? I'd like to hear what you think of it.

#Hashnode is great but it's part of the digital sharecropping economy. I'll probably syndicate my content there along with Medium & not use it as my content home.
Perhaps I should look into creating a headless CMS with #Astro @sarah11918 ? Is that possible?
As I follow the tutorial to build the static #website, I realised I'll probably be dealing with a lot of backend stuff & I want to avoid that.
