Bought #Harvestella and I've played until the first summer and I'm doing the first real (non-tutorial) dungeon. I can see why people have complained about it on switch, the graphics are a bit oof. Haven't had any frame problems, though, and I have an older switch. It's fun. Makes me kind of nostalgic for Rune Factory - which I ironically DON'T have on my switch.... maybe I ought to fix that...

#harvestella is a beautiful game, but it looks like it's going to have unusually large issues on Switch 2, according to Nintendo. So please take the opportunity to release an improved version with voice acting and more farming items for Switch 2! #squareenix

Playing Harvestella and I am annoyed that the game didn’t remember the autosave data I had. I had to play about 40 minutes in order to get to the point where I left off. Finally unlocked manual saving after 30 more minutes; this is a bugbear for me, gating manual saving behind story progress is a real annoyance.
Life happens and a player should always have access to save the game in order to meet obligations or take care of an important matter.

Harvestella's character options are distinctly lacking. They've offered the blandest of choices for one's character. It boggles the mind as to why they've not given the player hair options. You can either play as a twink, lady, or a non-binary icon who is either the lady or the twink. It's kinda odd to not see a buff dude option in the male options.
So far the gameplay isn't terrible in the opening first few hours. I'm not feeling very invested due to a bland Protag.

I wasn't too happy with my Hyuran design in #ffxiv anymore. So I thought I send her off into retirement, give her a nice place in #harvestella and create a new character based on a design I did for the NA cloud server test last week :) Well okay, I basically just renamed and redesigned my char, but for me, it's a new char :)

When the (fire?) Faerie in harvestella says "farm work is pretty good wind exercise," I can't help but think of Project Farm... And I'm wondering if that was deliberate?

Hacía tiempo que un juego no me impresionaba por el atrevimiento de su propuesta y, sincerándome contigo, leyente, jamás había jugado una creación inmersiva firmada bajo el imponente sello de Square Enix.
No fue hasta que la mismísima compañía nos hizo llegar un código para jugar HARVESTELLA en Nintendo Switch, un título del que tanto se estaba hablando en las redes sociales debido a su diferenciación: un híbrido de JRPGs y simulación de vida agrícola. ¿Quién pudiera haber imaginado que algo por el estilo fuera tan… grandioso y placentero?
Es correcto, querido leyente. Este juego ha superado mis expectativas sobre lo que es un RPG o un juego inspirado en las novelas ligeras (y admito que no he parado de jugarlo). Por añadidura, creo que el resultado hubiera sido distinto de no haber sido desarrollado por Square Enix, pues los mundos mágicos y etéreos que tanto distinguen a la firma, quedan espectacular bajo esta combinación.

Empecé a jugar HARVESTELLA pensando que solo iba a tomar el papel de granjera feliz con sus terrenos agrícolas y viviendo en un hermoso cottage, de ésos sublimes que se ven en redes sociales como Instagram o Tik Tok. No fue del todo preciso mi tino, y estoy más que satisfecha con ello; la acción y los sistemas de combate como peleadora, maga, entre otros, le dan un giro inesperado a este título. Nunca se había logrado consolidar el esfuerzo de mezclar géneros tan eficientemente.
A pesar de que, aparentemente, la dirección del desarrollo de los juegos tipo RPG apunta hacia los mundos abiertos, HARVESTELLA no cuenta con esa característica. Este título te va guiando a pasos lentos pero firmes con una historia principal, además de proveer diversas tareas secundarias (los famosos side quests, claro, algo típico en los RPGs); lo que sucede es que, conforme avanzas, la historia te intriga más y más, llegando al punto de atraparte.

All Rights Reserved.No es sólo el relato lo que interesa, también es la forma como es contado: el aspecto de novela ligera le da un toque delicado y refinado; la ambientación, como el diseño de sonido, la estética y la música, sirve como un conjuro de encantamiento al espectador que se envuelve en la historia. Es un juego visualmente apantallante e ideal para quienes buscan la sazón de la aventura y acción en la calidez y la calma de leer un buen libro.

All Rights Reserved.Como comentario extra, me pareció interesante que, al inicio de este juego acogedor, pudieras elegir ser una persona no binaria, lo cual creo que resulta ser una buena noticia para las personas que se puedan identificar con esta elección, logrando llegar a una amplia audiencia. Adicionalmente, en muy pocas ocasiones me tocó presenciar algunos bugs, pero es un detalle tan mínimo, que no le presté demasiada importancia, puesto que no rompe con el juego y la experiencia.
