The main reason I will not go back to Jabber/XMPP is unfortunately the amount of aggressive fanbois here and elsewhere that immediately try to kill any discussion on messaging/chat solutions with their "why not jabber/XMPP?" replies. Same for the DeltaChat fanbois, BTW.

Although it’s a one star review of my app MeandR, the title made me laugh out loud when I saw it this morning 🤣
(The app was trying to route them across a lake etc)
