The Morning Post reports on the UK General Election in #Huntingdonshire where #Whig candidate Lord John Russell (future #PrimeMinister 1846-52 & 1865-66) employed ‘London Pugilists’ to keep the polling station open so ‘agents’ could gather more voters from the countryside to increase his numbers.
