Harry Potter Ed Il Problema Piton
La serie tv su Harry Potter, che promette di essere più fedele ai libri di quanto non lo fossero i film, è destinata a scontrarsi con dei problemi non da poco.
E nessuno l’ha fatto notare veramente.
Il primo è il fandom che, in quanto tale, è comunque composto da legioni orchiclastiche professioniste, per non parlare dell’inevitabile scontro che ci sarà tra amanti dei libri ed amanti dei film.
Poi abbiamo la questione dell’autrice che vabbeh… non voglio infierire.
La questione più delicata però è destinata ad emergere col tempo ed è forse anche il motivo di una certa scelta per il cast ovvero quella del nuovo Piton.
La scelta di Essiedu non è piaciuta ed ha suscitato molte critiche, tutte che convergevano sul fatto che si tratta di un attore di colore.
Ed in parte posso capire le critiche ed il disappunto, pur considerando che Rickman non era molto simile alla descrizione della sua versione letteraria (le parti più somiglianti erano comunque una versione patinata) e ci stava: ma porca paletta, Severus è descritto dalla carnagione olivastra e nel complesso, per vari motivi, è un cesso a pedali (rotto).
Cosa che, Rickman decisamente non era, eppure è il personaggio più amato della saga cinematografica al punto tale che è praticamente diventato uno standard di riferimento: quello è per molto il vero ed unico Severus, anche se sono certo che i primi e fedelissimi lettori dei libri avessero storto il naso a loro volta vedendo quella trasposizione.
E gli italiani hanno sicuramente pensato cosa ci facesse Renato Zero lì.
Perchè dicevo “in parte” e non del tutto? Per un motivo molto pratico in realtà ovvero che nessun attore sarebbe in grado di ereditare il ruolo di Rickman senza trovare disappunto nei fans: sì, ritengo che la scelta di Essiedu sia una scelta politica (in senso aziendale) che è stata in parte mescolata alla questione Woke (pur essendo lui un attore tutt’altro che scialbo e da disprezzare).
Sì, secondo me qualcuno tra i dirigenti e responsabili vari ha pensato “mettiamo un attore di colore, così se lo attaccano possiamo usare la carte del razzismo per difendere la scelta”. E con questa, vincono il premio King Of Paracools 2026/2027 e 2028.
Il problema quando si fanno scelte basate su questioni esterne è che peccano di visione a lungo termine. In più questa viene meno alla dichiarazione iniziale sulla maggiore fedeltà ai libri rispetto ai film, ma facciamo finta di nulla.
Il vero problema è il rapporto tra Severus e Potter, e non parlo di Harry bensì del padre. Un rapporto che nel film è (molto, moltissimo) accennato ma mai esplicitato pienamente che è semplicemente bullismo. Pure quel poco che viene mostrato, e che fa intuire la natura delle azioni di James (e dei Malandrini) passano quasi come una goliardata, un “eh ma son ragazzi”.
Ora che avremo un Severus di colore come verrà trattata la cosa? Non è una domanda tanto banale nell’economia della storia perchè:
Se viene trattata in maniera soft, avremo chi sosterrà di aver voluto sminuire bullismo e razzismo (e classismo anche) contro chi sosterrà che son ragazzate.
Se viene trattata per quello che effettivamente è, avremo i difensori di James che lo vedranno come vittima Woke e parleranno di un attacco vile, scorretto ed esagerato ribattendo che Severus era un piangina e basta, geloso che James stesse con Lily.
Lily che in pochi secondi perderebbe la sua aura da angelo per bene, crocerossina in pectore, che vede in Piton qualcuno con cui può sfogarsi per la propria situazione a casa (è l’unica in famiglia con abilità magiche), ma che non fa NULLA per impedire classismo e soprusi classisti ai danni di un mezzosangue (quale Piton è).
E lo stesso Severus verrebbe tacciato di ipocrisia e di essere anche peggio perchè tratterebbe male (godendoci in fondo) Harry bullizzandolo come vendetta per quanto fatto dal padre. Per pietà verso gli autori sorvolo su quella che sarebbe un’altra incoerenza, ovvero Piton che si schiera con un gruppo terroristico i cui dogmi politici si basano sulla supremazia dei purosangue e sulla “purezza di sangue”.
Certo, è pur vero che la politica attuale non esita a fornirci esempi di partitii con candidati e/o leader in totale dissonanza con quello che sostengono quindi la cosa non sembrerebbe poi così stana…
Come dite? James salvò Piton da Remus? Vero, non lo si nega. Però farei notare come il vero motivo fosse parare il culo ai Malandrini (in questo caso James, Remus e Sirius) più che per altre nobili intenzioni.
Qualunque strada verrà presa, sarà come camminare sul filo del rasoio sopra a delle uova: il rischio di fare una frittata è elevatissimo.
Anzi diciamo pure che è una certezza.
