I was so pleased with my Bushmann Dinky #harmonicas that I splurged on their Solo Game Changer chromatic. It's cheaper and easier to buy this entire chromatic than to find new reedplates or valves for my Hohner. The Hohner is now a someday/maybe project.

Anyway, I'm excited, because the Game Changer has a full chromatic scale PLUS the ability to bend notes, so there's lots of room for expressive playing.

Bought 3 "Dinky" #harmonicas. They're FUN!

Keys of A, C and G -- the set was $15. Not as nice as fancy diatonics, but certainly better than mere toys. The 5th hole gives two lower notes, opening up the possibility of playing blues in in 2nd position, as well as allowing many more straight melodies than a standard mini harp. The longer reeds require less breath to play. I'm actually impressed.

I've been walking around the house practicing Bach and whatnot, because I'm fancy as shit.

I decided what the hell, and ordered one of these #harmonicas. It's got more notes than any other harp I've ever seen, the case is preposterously crappy (like, don't-get-it-wet level of crappy), and I seriously doubt it's going to be remotely in tune, but... Under $12‽ Including shipping‽ Ridiculous! I might glue piezoelectric pickups on it and run it through some cheap effects pedals or something.

I thought I mentioned the #Pianaccord in my #AccordionRevolution history of the #accordion 📚 but I guess not?

I may have only learned about them when I was researching electronic Accordions for a talk after I published
