    #NativePlant in #PacificNorthwest regions. We've used this plant at several habitat/ecological restoration areas - across Southern #VancouverIsland. It is an excellent plant for riparian revegetation & pollinators love their bright pink, tiny flowers too.

    #PNW #Indigenous peoples use the plant for making brooms & for hanging seafood to cook.

    It grows in almost any soil conditions, even very dry & gravelly soil but prefers boggy/wet areas.
