Tiesitkö, että juhannus juontaa juurensa tuhatvuotisiin pakanallisiin perinteisiin? Alun perin se oli Ukon juhla – kesäpäivänseisaus, jolloin aurinko hallitsee taivasta pisimpään. 🌞
🔥 Kokot sytytettiin karkottamaan pahoja henkiä ja varmistamaan hyvät sadot.
Kristillistymisen myötä juhannus yhdistettiin Johannes Kastajan syntymään, mutta vanhat tavat säilyivät. -
