@AstralAudio Awwww that just made me teary. For me it isn't a book in particular it's rather a room the room in which my Dad more often than not would read me print novels for school. I loved reading with him so I'd often tell a fib and say the cassette jammed in the machine just so he'd read to me rather than whatever narrator was on the cassette version. #HappyMemories #BitterSweetMemories I might cry now.

Musical Interlude: Years ago, I first learned of Vagabond Opera in the Washington Post, when they were doing a free show at the Kennedy Center. I went on a whim, thinking it sounded fun, and while I was standing in line for a ticket, I heard them start to rehearse this piece...and I was hooked immediately. I remember a young lady in the line behind me locked eyes with me as I looked back at the band, and she grabbed my arm. "Are you familiar with this band?" she asked. I told her no, I was just here on a whim. "But after hearing that....I think we're in for quite an evening." "Oh God yes!" she echoed enthusiastically.
It was an amazing show, and she and I hugged on our way out. Never saw her again; I hope she's well.

@JonathanMosen This story made me laugh out loud because a similar thing happened to me once when out with friends. They talked me into a ten-step skin care regimen. Having not a clue as it was being rung up at the register my friend leaned over and said this will cost you as much as a low-end computer you could customize. A line was forming behind us. I was embarrassed to back out and cause a scene so on credit card it went. I came home knowing I'd never use such. The next day I went to another location of the store with someone else I knew and returned everything but the lip balm. 😁🤣 #HappyMemories

@luv4music1231 @vol4life8657 Once an auntie of mine was at a family event on her side. Anyway someone came over and started talking to her and kept referring to her as Pilar. Not Carol, Jane Suzanne but Pilar a name that's not as common here. She had no clue who he was or who he thought she was. So when she came home and told me the story I told her I knew the truth it was her alias as a covert spy. It was so fun we just kept it going for many years. Every time she'd call me or i'd call her it was always Auntie Pilar after that. #HappyMemories.

A very tame bird as pet is amazing.
We had a budgie that we got before it could fly and it got so used us that when it could fly it would land on your head or shoulders and sometimes if you put a finger out it would land on it.
On the down side it used to perch on the side of my cereal bowl and drink the milk and peck at the flakes;-)

I once had a Happy Shirt I used to wear out to the club (back in the day, as we'd say). With it on, I became dancing fever and the most engaging conversationalist.It lasted me very many years then, as time does, took its toll. I sure do miss that shirt. 💔
