Cluster & Eno
While this is clearly of a piece of Eno (& Cluster's) 70s work, it's also rather timeless. There's nothing (save perhaps the nature of analog synths) that indicates its 1977 origin.
Anyway, it's a nice merging of sensibilities, and the partnership continued, producing After the Heat later on...

Tim Story & Hans-Joachim Roedelius - Lazy Arc
Finally out on a double-LP with two bonus tracks, this ambient masterwork also includes the original seven part suite.
The cover gives you a good idea of the sound, actually, with Roedelius' keyboards being manipulated by Story's electronic flourishes and editing.

Harmonia was a #WestGerman musical "#supergroup" formed in 1973 as a collaboration between members of two prominent #krautrock bands: #Cluster's #HansJoachimRoedelius and #DieterMoebius joined by #Neu guitarist #MichaelRother. Living and recording in the rural village of #Forst, the trio released two albums—#MusikVonHarmonia (1974) and #Deluxe (1975)—to limited sales before dissolving in 1976.
