#Israel has claimed that #Iran is at fault for the attack in #Australia, however using a Facebook post, we can see that one of the attackers, Naveed Akram, learnt "Tajweed" (Quranic Linguistics) from a #Salafi teacher (who hate Shia Iran much more than Israel and Jews)
This can be proven by reading the names of the books in the background, written by prominent #Wahhabi scholars, such as Bin Baz and Al-Uthaymeen.

But for me it's a burning fire of rebellion, a rejection of cultural givens, a fierce battle against complacent assimilation of unthinking or even merely popular ways of being, within ourselves & the larger culture. #Hannuka is an alienation celebration, a rebellion in the hinterlands, an I-&-we-are-not-them survival & victory party

it is nearly undoubted that the hasmonean dynasty was a succession of the most tyrannical kings and queens the jewish people have produced until that point in history.
is it right to celebrate their mutiny without glorifying their rule, in the same way some communists celebrate the beginning stages of the russian revolution while distancing themselves from stalinism?
