Germany is arming up!

Billions for the Bundeswehr and police, while a genocide is taking place in Gaza, also with German weapons. At the same time, cuts are being made to education, culture and social services.

Even the FU is not spared. For us, this means: more expensive canteens and tuition fees, forced exmatriculation and police batons.

But we are fighting back!

That's why we want to discuss protest and repression together and what all this means for student spaces like the Rote Café.

Deutschland rüstet auf!

Milliarden für die Bundeswehr und Polizei, während in Gaza ein Genozid auch mit deutschen Waffen stattfindet. Gleichzeitige Kürzungen bei Bildung, Kultur und Sozialem.

Auch die FU bleibt davon nicht verschont. Für uns heißt das: Teurere Mensa und Studiengebühren, Zwangsexmatrikulation und Polizeiknüppel.

Doch wir wehren uns!

Deshalb wollen wir gemeinsam diskutieren, über Protest und Repressionen dagegen und was das alles für studentische Freiräume, wie das Rote Café, bedeutet.

On 21 May, we want to discuss together how the tightening of the Higher Education Act in Berlin through Section 16 affects climate protests at universities.

Just a year ago, the Emil Fischer lecture theatre at the HU was occupied to draw attention to the climate crisis. If this paragraph had already existed back then, all those involved would have been exmatriculated.

So let's discuss what this paragraph means in order to prevent it together!

Am 21.05. wollen wir gemeinsam diskutieren wie sich die Verschärfung des Hochschulgesetztes in Berlin durch Paragraf 16 auf Klimaprotest an Unis auswirkt.

Noch vor einem Jahr wurde der Emil-Fischer-Hörsaal an der HU besetzt um auf die Klimakrise aufmerksam zu machen. Wenn dieser Paragraf damals schon existiert hätte, wären sämtliche Beteiligten exmatrikuliert worden.

Deshalb lasst uns diskutieren was dieser Pragraf bedeutet, um ihm gemeinsam zu verhindern!

CAMPAIGN AGAINST FORCED EXMATRICULATION

HANDS OFF STUDENT RIGHTS - #stopforcedexmatriculation  

‼️CDU & SPD in Berlin want to pass the most repressive change of university law in decades: the reintroduction of forced exmatriculation. They are pushing this through during semester break, with little time for organized opposition.

This will have far-reaching consequences for our campus freedom, student rights and all political organizing at university.

This rally takes place within a larger campaign where students stand united to say, WE CANNOT LET THIS PASS!

KAMPAGNE GEGEN ZWANGSEXMATRIKULATION

HANDS OF STUDENT’S RIGHTS - #stopptzwangsexmatrikulation

CDU und SPD versuchen aktuell das Berliner Hochschulgesetz im Eilverfahren massivst zu verschärfen. Der Berliner Senat will die Wiedereinführung von Zwangsexmatrikulationen als Ordnungsmaßnahme durchsetzen auch ohne strafrechtliche Verurteilung.

Dies wird politischen Aktivismus und Meinungsäußerung an den Unis unfassbar einschränken. Eine Zwangsexmatrikulation gefährdet zusätzlich den Aufenthaltsstatus und die finanzielle Sicherheit vieler Studierender.

Die Verschärfung des Berliner Hochschulgesetz wird uns alle betreffen! Alles zusammen gegen Paragraf 16!
