First successful test of PolyFilm Ortho25 — a handcrafted orthochromatic emulsion.
This project is a tribute to late 19th and early 20th-century photographic technologies, recreated with a modern, non-toxic approach by @polyakovusko
Technical details:
- Film: PolyFilm Ortho25 (120 type, experimental batch)
- Camera: Rolleiflex 3.5F
- Exposure: Shot at ISO 20
- Developer: Rodinal (1+50)
- Process: 15 min @ 18°C
- Scan: Epson v600
Still in the early beta-testing phase, but the silver-rich tones are exactly where I want them to be.

filmwerkplaats is an artist-run experimental analog film lab and filmmaker cooperative at WORM Rotterdam that has been existing for 25 years. It is an important node & knowledge base in the global network of artist-run analog (8/16mm) experimental; film labs.

🔬 Я перевіряю, як ця плівка реагує на:
🟩 Зелений фільтр
🟥 Червоний фільтр
🟨 Жовтий фільтр
🟦 Синій фільтр
🌑 Інфрачервоний R72
Знімаю в різних умовах, експериментую з експозицією, а потім показую друки з темної кімнати й цифровий розбір у Darktable.
