Just a few hours in, and I can already see some color! Walnuts produce a rich brown shade, with darkness depending on the dye-to-fabric ratio. This is when I get really excited!

Next project is my arch nemesis, the Shepherd's Cross #roving, which I #handdyed years ago but then never could draft (slightly felted). It frustrated me so much it made me give up trying to learn to spin many times over the past few years. 😤

This is a side project of mine. Since January much of my work has needed texture assets to have the right effect. I’ve made quite a few using photoshop tutorials from bluelightningTv or gotten from Texturelabs (who provides some amazing ones for free!) But for my next project I needed something more.
