The one moving part in my Linksys home router. i.e. the one part that is likely to fail and need to be replaced. Of course, it's attached to the heat sink with screws from the BOTTOM. And there's no practical way to get the heat sink off. (Too many layers of screws, glue like heatsink compound and electrical connectors at 90° angles.). *grumble* #hamrado #elctronics

I really enjoy QRP but when someone leaves a 50-year-old Heathkit kilowatt amp in cruft taking a shot at bringing it back to life is too much of a temptation to let go #hamrado

My antenna gets to see fantastic views, but not enough QSO s. The #rbn #reversebeaconnetwork shows that my QRP signal is perfectly copied all over Europe, but there are no takers. I even heard a Japanese station on 17m, and LU on 10m. So I conclude that the antenna works fine, the bands are open, there is just no activity. Except Ft8. Le sigh.

I made 5 contacts with them, with 3 on #SSB ( 1 x 40m / 2 x 80m)
2 on #FT8 ( 1 x 40m / 1 x 15m)

Simple truck based #pota activation at two parks. Mill Pond VE-5955 was a 2fer with VE-0023 and Portland Conservation area VE-5957 was a 3fer with VE-4882 and VE-0023. I’m usually a low powered operator with my KX2 and wire in the air but sometimes it’s fun to use the FT-991A and ATAS 120a. The more I use the 991A, the more I like it.
