You can read all about these colourful Bay Area also-rans elsewhere, but all you really need to know: this is a cover of a song made famous by Cajun Jimmy C. Newman over a decade earlier; it's from their very last gig as a #SalValentino-led 11-piece(!) band; the archival live CD from which this is taken (The Last Dance, 2001) steamrolls any of their ho-hum studio albums. Stoneground can also be seen miming to the studio version of this song in the hammy #HammerHorror film Dracula A.D. 1972.
