Hamas militants took 251 hostages into Gaza during their staged attack on Israel. It's beIieved 60 hostages are alive, while 34 have been declared dead. Mediators said the new ceasefire deal between Israel and Hammas would include an exchange of hostages and prisoners.

Netanyahoo deserves condemnation for a reckless response to Hammas terrorism against its civilians.
#Hammas terrorism also needs to be highlighted and that it was not provoked by violence and that Hammas chose to hide behind civilians in Gaza. This is better labeled Murder.
US role in providing weapons is in part due to Iran's backing of Hammas.
US policy is evolving - it also involved in ceasefire negotiations that the public is not privy to.

Far be it from me to justify the cruel and dictatorial #Hammas regime, but it must be recognised that #Bibi has been denying #Palestinians the right to live and exist since he has been in power with the help of radical right-wing parties.
It is not Hammas, Hezbollah and Iran that are destroying #Israel in the first place, but Netanyahu alone.
For decades, Palestinians have been used as cheap labour. They have been denied their own country and citizenship. They have been deprived of their resources, primarily water.
Two-state solution now, there is no other way.
