Yeah, sure, I can use it by hand.
But if I want to use a WR-15 attenuator by hand, I'll pull the designed to be manual one from the shelf, not this one.
But thanks to the #hamkarelia2024 hamfest I got one of these for free by being in the right place at the right time.
Not only that, but I also have one from the same or related series with WR-62 flanges and it's my only variable WR-62 attenuator.
And I'd prefer that one to be easier to use as well.
I think this was the best purchase from the Hamkarelia2024 hamfest.
HP/Agilent 11970V harmonic mixer for 50-75GHz, with WR-15 flange.
I hope to use it to potentially see things on 47GHz (iffy) and 76GHz (more likely).
100eur. So not free, but a decent price.
There was also a WR-15 noise source, but that was also 100eur and I had no immediate use for one, nor a noise test set.
