After the previous day's excitement of Mabamba Swamp, I went out on my own to wander around the roads near the hotel (2 Friends Beach Hotel - highly recommended) and saw many species of birds for the first time. I came across these Hamerkop building their nest. Eventually, it’ll be a big, covered nest with an entrance hole on the side).
