I make these hamantaschen every year. They’re not the easiest dough to work with, they’re crumbly, they’re fussy, sometimes the jam leaks all over the place. But I love them. In English, the traditional cookies are called #hamantaschen, after the bad guy in the Purim story's hat.
In Hebrew, they're called אוזני המן (oznei haman), after the bad guy's ears. Because in ancient Persia sometimes criminals would get their ears removed.

Happy Purim! I love this hamantaschen recipe from @bonappetitmag. It has 3.2 stars because it’s finicky, the dough is tricky to work with, and it breaks when folded. And I don’t care, because I love the texture and the way they taste. Raspberry and poppy seed again this year.
