One of the tutors on the #Halsway weekend was Lucy Huzzard, who is not just a great teacher and player but an engaging and passionate activist. She’s trying to get her musical career going, and is enough people like this YouTube video for her to win this climate song competition is she’ll get some cash that’ll help get her started.

Looks like my trains to #Halsway D/G #melodeon weekend may be affected by next week’s overtime ban. Bugger. And of course I can’t check the details of what services will be running until closer to the time… fingers crossed that I’ve understood correctly and that means tomorrow!
That said, I expect there’ll be something that works and if not then ultimately I can drive myself or probably scab a lift from someone if I ask around (see what I did there?!)… anyone passing Bedford to get there?
