  1. Real interesting results benchmarking my new system... I was going to install CachyOS instead of Manjaro, thinking that I would see some significant improvements (given the scheduler, and the instruction set optimizations in Cachy). But that doesn't really appear to be the case. Looking through the results on Geekbench, the biggest difference on single core is ~6.5%, while multicore is ~2.5%.

    And I haven't done any tuning to the system yet... Meaning I could close that margin a bit.
