It was early morning in Tokyo when the Hakuto-R Resilience lander of the Japanese company ispace inc. attempted the Moon landing. For the people who watched the conclusion of the first Hakuto-R lander's mission, the end of Resilience's mission unfortunately offered a sense of deja vu. This time, the telemetry transmission was interrupted less than two minutes before the Moon landing.

iSpace's failed HAKUTO-R moon landing last month was due to a sensor problem. The moon ain't flat, and altitude sensors aren't perfect. So that sharp change in altitude you just saw could be a ridge or a sensor glitch, and your software has to be able to reliably tell the difference real quick-like.

@MacropodCare Nothing to do with Musk really. Spacex launched it perfectly, but then Musk doesn't run day-to-day things there anyway. It is the superb Pres & COO Gwynne Shotwell who has made Spacex into the powerhouse it has become.
The HAKUTO-R crashed entirely under its own, evidently inadequate, steam.
The ispace team must keep trying. It's the only way.

Za kilka dni nad miejscem ladowania ma przeleciec sonda, ktora zrobi zdjecia i wtedy bedzie wiadomo co sie tak naprawde stalo
