Just got off the phone with Garlande, hairstylist. She's booking me for 2 separate appointments because the multi-coloured vivids will take a full 5 hrs. I'm getting my haircut on May 28th (should take about 1.5 hrs) & colours will be put in on June 5th. It will take some time to strip the old blues out & do full bleach over my natural black hair before colours are applied.
I've decided to go with the #haircut shown below & the fun rainbow colours combo. Garlande said it's doable 🌈💇♀️

Hey #VividHairDye nerds! I need shampoo recommendations.
I used to use Arctic Fox and that held up to the Paul Mitchel Tea Tree Special Color preserving shampoo and conditioner, which I was using because the tea tree oil helped me keep my scalp happy.
I switched to IroIro, and I really like their dye, but the tea tree shampoo just utterly wipes out the color. Which considering that IroIro seems to be utterly indestructible otherwise, is impressive.
I'm trying to find another shampoo and conditioner that can keep up with my oily scalp without also wiping out my color so I need to redye hella frequently. It doesn't help that I have super fine hair, so my hair gets weighted down easily, so I have to wash more frequently than typically is recommended for vivid hair colors. Can anyone make any recommendations?
I don't want to switch back to Arctic Fox (and rather not debate that) or try to find a purple I like in another brand, so please only shampoo and conditioner recommendations here please.

Here's the ice cream my hair stylist got me (I tipped him extra to cover the cost of the ice cream and the kindness of getting the ice cream) during my appointment today. I kept it simple just French vanilla ice cream with milk chocolate sprinkles. It was very good! Plus I hadn't eaten anything all day at that point so the food was more than welcome.

My blue is still in but natural black hair has come back atop. I'm leaning towards putting bright #pink back in for Summer 🤘 This was 2 yrs ago - when my #hair colour expert friend put in rad #colours for me to help cheer me up after a long & dark depression period. The green didn't go in as well as the blue. I'll be getting it adjusted next month. Overall am happy with new #vivid #hairdye #colours & the muted transitions. It's a lot brighter in real life. Depending on how light hits it, you can see multiple shades of blue & purple near the top parts. It's #mermaid #hair now.
