Chastity hair, with horns
Anybody engaging in Venetian history have stumbled over images of women with their hair set as a couple of horns.
This hair dressing fashion first appeared at some time in the second half of the 1500s, and lasted into the early 1600s. Apparently, the style remained almost exclusively Venetian for the entire period.
Despite being quite eye-catching, the hairstyle doesn't seem to have a name.
The printer and engraver Giacomo Franco wrote in 1610:
It has not been many years that the Women of this City have been accustomed to wearing their hair in high curls, having previously worn them much lower.

There's much to love about some Linux-based distros, but I very rarely thought of switching away from FreeBSD. It's a cohesive operating system, with a community that's diverse and generally very cooperative.
I use Plasma with FreeBSD 15.0-CURRENT.

@wowdane I'm a bit edgy about doing it. I haven't had short hair in over 30 years now & hubby hasn't ever seen me with it. If I cut it, I'm intending it to be very short & I suspect he's not going to be thrilled with it either. Got up early (for me) and went through that initial rise-and-shine routine, including coffee. Then I opted for a stint back in bed due to sleepiness.
Back up again, and actually finished getting ready for the day, including brushing my hair.
Diabetes, heart disease, thyroid disease...and my hair is very thin. I braided it once last week, and each braid was as thin as a 2 yr olds would be. I'm seriously thinking about shearing it all off.
