Much ado, or: No exit
A haibun
spring window—
my curtain lifts once
then settlesThe room is quiet, but the noise does not settle inside my head. Voices overlap; doubts, second-guessing, rehearsed replies, small concerns that return just when I begin to hope they have finished. They question, correct, and circle back until even simple moments become crowded. I understand the desire for it to stop, the pressure inside the mind.

Is it possible to create new #art within the space of a Mastodon #Toot?
By this, I mean an #ArtForm that is dictated by the #CodesandCoventions of a Toot. The easiest form is to compose #prose, #poetry, or a combination, such as #Haibun that is restricted to the Toot #CharacterLimit. I experimented with this myself when composing some #Dadaist #CollagePoetry.
That type of composition could be printed without losing/changing meaning. So I am curious - is there #TootArt? Only existing as a Toot? -
