It's #HacktionLab again on the 2nd and 3rd October in #Nottingham
I've been twice. I met some nice people and learnt about some interesting topics - not just IT, but also music and social issues too.

I had a good time at #HacktionLab in #Nottingham
On Friday there was an intro and discussion to consciousness, a discussion about #enshittification, and then a jam session to finish the first night.
On Saturday, sadly I missed the talk about Linux audio, but caught the sessions about #PermaComputing and a slightly tongue-in-cheek "Anarcho-Primitivist Computer Club", the theory of music scales (which I didn't really understand due to my lack of musical ability), and then a great talk about building an #LiFePo4 battery pack and #SolarPV charging system for a house boat.
There was another jam session with some locals to finish which was nice.Today, I went back for a nice breakfast and discussions about the next HacktionLab, which might be happening again next year.

I went to one in Sheffield a few years ago. It was interesting, and I helped give a talk about #OpenStreetMap at short notice, which was scary/exciting 😅
