Nachdem ich von #HackneyDiamonds echt nicht so angetan war und die #RollingStones musikalisch(!) schon, wie ich dachte, endgültig beerdigt hatte, ist #ForeignTongues wieder ein echter Hammer, der mich schon sehr abholt.
Wahnsinn, was die noch aus sich rausholen! Ich hoffe, ich habe dereinst in dem Alter noch die Energie, solche Musik überhaupt zu hören – geschweige denn, zu machen! :)

When I do some cleaning, I like to put on classic Rock 'n' Roll. And we did get some great albums this year.

Man ist ja versucht, zu lästern, wenn ältere Herren nochmal ins Studio gehen möchten, um Rebellion, Sex und ewige Jugend in ein Album zu kippen.
Aber das Ergebnis überzeugt dann doch: #hackneydiamonds ist das beste #rollingstones-Album seit 45 Jahren.

So here's the thing. I don't care how snooty the professional audio snobs get. I like the new #RollingStones album and I am going to keep right on listening to it.
One guy wrote it was eerie or disturbing or some such how young Mick sounds on #HackneyDiamonds. Shut up. If you think he's using AI, say so, but don't hint around the edges. PS: He isn't. And if he sounded old you'd slam him for THAT.
