I'm afraid my one recommend was already mentioned. I'm commenting here to keep connected to this, as old Telco stuff/repurposing/playing is my JAM!

I was a member of #hackCanada back in the late 90s early 00s, and used to get up to lots and lots of fun, mixing super old hw with the new.

I'd sit on my #model500 rotary dial, connected to an asterisk machine in some dudes basement, then we'd hit some trunks and talk all over the world.

  6. Anyone remember #hackcanada? That site rocked! I remember being taken on tandem dialouts by the site admin, #pbx hopping and having all kinds of fun with 800 numbers.
