Beeindruckende Trauerfeier und Beerdigung von Robert Badinter gestern im France.TV - Badinter sorgte als französischer Justizminister für die Abschaffung der Todesstrafe in Frankreich. Es wäre toll, wenn es eine Biografie von ihm in deutscher Sprache geben würde. Aber vielleicht wäre ein erster Schritt eine Habilitation zum Thema "Todesstrafe in Frankreich - und ihre Abschaffung" durch jemanden am deutschen historischen Institut? @[email protected]
Toll fände ich auch eine Doku über sein Leben bei Arte bzw. Einen Film, dessen Verleihrechte die evangelische Medienzentrale Nürnberg bekommen könnte. Vielleicht kann unser Staat so etwas fördern?

Es fehlt Geld, auch wird um Wissenschaftsfreiheit gebangt, um das traditionsreiche Verlagswesen, um die inhaltliche Qualität von Publikationen, um einen Reputationsverlust und überhaupt um das Kulturgut Buch.
Das #Buch spielt in den Geisteswissenschaften eine besondere Rolle: Zentrale Erkenntnisse einer Laufbahn werden darin festgehalten (#Promotion, #Habilitation). Auch Sammelbände sind wichtige Formate.

Just submitted the three options for my #Habilitation talk. Depending on the vote of the Faculty Council, I will either talk about "Neurodiversity, inclusive education & Diskursfähigkeit in the EFL classroom", "Trans-informed pedagogy" or "Own voices texts in the EFL classroom". Admittedly, I do have my favorites in this list :)
Mid May, I will learn if I have passed the thesis part of the Habilitation, and what my presentation topic will be. The presentation itself will then be mid June.
