Tried out the #HabboHotel Origins 2005-era re-launch today. I'd never played the original back in its day, only seen screenshots and memes. Was pretty neat to find the place full of people! You don't normally get that in revived MMOs.
Also like old times, all the furniture and inventory items require Real Money, but some people have already decorated fancy rooms and it's fun enough to be a tourist poking around everywhere.
Twilight and Linkin Park are still popular conversation topics, but now instead of talking about middle school woes everyone's sharing career stories and parenting tips lol

All Geno were gray and we preached of the path and the cowbells and we formed lines and coordinated stuff using SA. A line of 50 Geno might form up and everyone would stop interacting simultaneously, the avatars would simultaneously vanish when they timed out.
