TBH I’m not knowledgeable about the #h2avisa or the #H2AVisaExpansion aside from awareness of it happening and parts of the program being problematic. I’m very light on specifics… which is why this caught my eye. Hopefully one of you folks out there will find this useful. The sources at least look legit on the surface. *More work is necessary for me to speak to the subject with knowledge.*
That said, what a nightmare scenario. An all too familiar nightmare in #America.

#ice raids are half the story according to this YouTuber. The other half is the #h2avisa program. The short high level argument here is the #us #FarmIndustry has been propped up by #slavery and abusive labor practices for a long time. The raids are part of a larger effort to expand the #h2a program and rollback #antislavery and #workplacesafety reforms.
