Aqui a pensar no que eu faria se fosse o presidente do Sporting no caso Gyokeres; deixaria de ter o jogador à venda, a partir do momento em que desrespeitou o clube. Se alguém o quiser que pague a cláusula de rescisão.

Esta mensagem de “fazer chantagem com a entidade patronal até resulta” é muito mais perigosa que o custo de ter o jogador contrariado e sem disponibilidade para jogar nos próximos anos. Fica sem carreira, daria eu como certo que contar com ele para jogar estará fora de questão, mas o respeito pela instituição que o emprega deve prevalecer.

A mensagem que se passa a outros funcionários (presentes e futuros) com esta “paciência” é “tolerância” com comportamentos incorrectos é uma má ideia.

O clube perde uns milhões e o Gyokeres fica sem direitos desportivos durante anos (acaba ou limita muito qualquer potencial carreira). É mau. Mas é menos mau dar a receita a outros jogadores e empresários para desrespeitarem o clube…

E o Arsenal a negociar com o jogador sem acordo com o clube também merece um processo catita. Bom sítio para se recuperarem alguns desses milhões perdidos.

Percebo o Varandas, o que ele quer mesmo agora, face a este comportamento, é despachar o jogador pelos 70 milhões e outros 10 por objectivos. Mas eu desvalorizaria esses milhões em nome do respeito pela instituição, que vale muito mais que qualquer jogador.
