My initial thought was that I wanted to listen to some scraping sound, but then I saw this endurance test instead: the collaboration between David Ireland And GX Jupitter-Larsen. Three 18 min.+ monotonous tracks. Scraping sounds on the second!
A nice soundtrack while looking at the Vinyl Communications catalog. I even found a #CD I'd forgotten I had, which I may listen to next. A hint about what it is can actually be found behind the label logo.
"If the polywave is movement, then the xylowave is both a distance and a speed. The distance between nothing and something, and a speed not fast enough to be something, nor still enough to be nothing, but a slowness that blankets everything from everything else. The polywave and the xylowave together set the perimeters of chaos-dynamics. I am lucky if my hands write the words I am thinking."

"Mind The Gap is a term used by some rail lines to inform their passengers to use caution when stepping out of the train.
Mind The Gap is also a term used by The Haters to describe the use of amplified staple-guns when stapling records or CDs together."
Remembering that GX Jupitter-Larsen talked about that the weather channel was his favorite TV channel on the #Noisextra podcast, I noticed the tape "Two Television Oriented Guys", in collaboration #AMK, on Discogs. And as luck would have it, somebody uploaded it to the Internet Archive. It's mostly layers of TV recordings, repetitive noise in the background, and some manipulated spoken word (Or at least I think so).

Great, intense release by The Haters.
But I really want to read the whole story about the disease falling in love with the doctor that tries to defy it.
Who wouldn't buy a CD based on this hype sticker alone? Or at least when combined with the colourful artwork (sadly not replicated on Bandcamp, Spotify, etc.)?
