I love Colorado so much. I wish the bands had been better but it was so cool sitting at 12k feet, wife went hiking and I stayed trying to make contacts @ Loveland Pass. Didn't make many but I was able to make a 2m simplex contact on .520 with a person doing their first SOTA and that really made my day.

Broke away from work and responsibilities for a few days before Christmas and rented a cabin in Broken Bow, OK. By far one of my favorite places in Oklahoma. Got to stretch out the legs of my new toy, read by the fire and enjoy the quietness of the forest in two days of dense fog. Really felt recharged and ready for more time relaxing with family during Christmas.
