I wish I could go bowling just for fun, without the competition part.
So many tournaments.
Feel that way about tossing a disc around, too. Frisbee golf is fine but I'd rather just toss it back and forth.
Finding people who would want to do those things, just for fun, without making it into a scoring competition is difficult.
Missing whatever the ambition and competition thing is that so many others have.

My father got this from a vendor in a marketplace in Monterrey, Mexico in the mid-1980s for 40 centavos.
If it's folded back correctly, it falls down in a block-by-block effect instead of straight down.
Just colored ribbons on blocks, but fun to play with.

There's a bit in the documentary about the SNL writer Jim Downey "Downey Wrote That" where in the writer's room in Saturday Night Live, they play a "goo game" with goo and darts on a wall and I don't have the skills to do this but I thought it would make a great vertical scroll game with the goo being like "the blob" or a gelatinous cube and the darts being blockages put up by the characters.
