#Showers and a few #thunderstorms will move through the #Northland Thursday night with #breezy #winds. Low #temperatures will be #warm in the upper 40s and 50s.

#Lakeeffect #snow #showers will persist along the South Shore Snowbelt region through Tuesday night, leading to a couple inches of new #snowfall.
The rest of the #Northland will see #gusty #winds and dropping #temperatures. #Windchills will be below zero by Wednesday morning.

UPDATE: The #Wind #Advisory alerts have been expanded to cover a few more counties in the I-35 Corridor and most of the #TwinPorts region in the #Northland.
It will become #gusty this evening and tonight as #temperatures drop below #freezing.

WET WEEKEND STORM SYSTEM (AND SNOWY FOR A FEW):
The big #storm #system that passed through the #Northland did bring #rain #showers for everyone.
Some spots on the #Minnesota side saw a decent #precipitation event, and some of it fell as #snow.
Grand Marais and the North Shore did deal with #gusty #winds over 50 mph Saturday night.

I like it when the past 24 hours of #weather have played out as #forecasted in the #Northland.
The #NorthShore saw the highest #rainfall totals, but everyone got at least around 0.50".
#Winds were also #gusty, with the highest totals near #LakeSuperior.

A #low-pressure system will bring #showers and #thunderstorms across the #Northland Sunday night and Monday. Some #storms could have heavy #rain and #gusty #winds, possibly causing minor #flash #flooding.
The #humidity sticks around, but #temperatures cool a bit to the 60s for lows and upper 70s and low 80s for highs. Winds remain light.

#Heavy #rainfall and #gusty #winds are occurring between Highway 2 and Highway 77.

SEVERE WEATHER THREAT IN THE NORTHLAND:
After a #foggy and #warm Monday night, the #Northland will see the return of #showers and #thunderstorms to the region from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night.
There is a good chance most locations will see a #strong #storm with #gusty #winds and small #hail. A few could be #severe.
