Gurdjieff was ostensibly Armenian. He brought the Islamic Sufi and Dervish traditions west. He was tarred in the media as a theosophist, but in retrospect this joycean-languge infused book/teaching tool is considered 1 of the 10 most influential philosophy books of modern history.

Halloween, with its costumes, decorations, and festive spirit, is a holiday celebrated by millions around the world.
