Saw an AMV for this 80s anime Gunsmith Cats and it looked awesomee~
Watched the first ep, and liked it~ It's like a buddy cop series where both partners are women; kinda gives yuri vibes also~
also, one of the MCs is not just dark skinned, but also canonically of indian descent? wattt?? representation in a anime? and one from the 80s? yooo, this kinda slapsss~ the art style is also fabbb

This #AniMonday I finished #GunsmithCats. It's a fun little 3 episode OVA. The format lends itself to just being a plot-light action romp with good music. Like bite-sized action movies. #anime

After Riding Bean last week, I figured I could watch #GunsmithCats for #AniMonday. It's more fun than Bean, which was pretty fun.
I know it actually predates it—and has many other differences—but between the style of the opening and the jazz music used throughout my brain went to "Cowboy Bebop but fun." #anime

One of my favorite posters. It's an original AnimEigo promotional poster for #BubblegumCrisis. I bought it about 20 years ago at an #Anime convention.
I was very happy when I took it to get it matted and framed. The matting i chose was black but when cut at an angle would expose a red core which matched the font of the poster.
