I came home from work to a nice surprise: More #PCEngine games for my collection. I got both the #GunBuster games and added the second #Macross game (Eternal Love Song), as well as ROM ROM Stadium (never opened!). I figured I need at least one baseball game. #retrogaming

This "Starship Velociraptor" #metal music video is a masterpiece of indie #animation… countless visual references to #Gainax #anime titles (like #Evangelion, #Gunbuster & #Diebuster, #GurenLagann), #Akira, #GhostInTheShell, Vampire Hunter D, and I would guess #GUNDAM + #Macross + #Patlabor too. Highly recommended, unless you're sensitive to flashing lights or needing to freeze frames every few seconds for easter egg jokes (lyrics are also hilarious) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2n_Ae9DGC0U

Not really in to buying #animefigures as I was about a decade ago, but I did snag a couple via Goodwill on the cheap
Got a Noriko (Gunbuster) figure and a Elwing (Shining Tears) Figure. Both pretty cheap compared to resell sites like eBay.
