WIP panel crop from "Nightmare's Embrace," the Guild Wars 2 sylvari mini-fancomic I've been drawing!

It's mainly an info page right now with brief character profiles and an art gallery, similar to "The Harbinger's Path" page index
The first 2 profile artworks there are older, and I plan to update (paintover) them before linking more widely, but for you on this page I decided to link it above :D
I slightly updated both artworks yesterday, but they're not final.

@Gazimoff the Guildwars 2 wiki (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Central_Tyria_mastery_tracks) explains it in more detail than I can do here but basically: you pick a mastery track to train in your hero panel, and then train it by accumulating experience in the open world. In addition, you need to collect mastery points. Some are easy to get, others are harder (solving puzzles, completing collections etc).
Once you have enough XP and the required number of mastery points, you can unlock the mastery.
Each expansion has its own mastery tracks, some more useful than others but a large part of the fun (IMO) is just doing events and solving puzzles to get the XP and the mastery points.

@massivelyop absolutely just trying to stir the pot over here! I'll say it has to be raiders. Especially the ones that played in #guildwars2. That group was insufferable! The only ones worse than them were the devs who created those raids! There's still so much story that I've never even seen from when I actually played regularly because it was locked up in the raids! And don't even suggest they add an actual story mode to the raids! They'll pop a gasket at the mention

Finally hit level 80 in #GuildWars2 ! I finished off the map in Straits of Devastation, them moved on to some earlier map spots to round out my progress.
Now I just have to work out what I'm going to do next. Any ideas?

Chewing through the Straits of Devastation in #GuildWars2. It feels weird doing a zone with no renown hearts (quests) and a ton of dynamic events, but the XP is still flowing freely!
Still going to try and 100% the zone map though...

I’ve now finished playing Guild Wars 2—and most likely not just for the time being, but for good.
I had a wonderful time in that fictional world over the last few years, mostly on my own because that’s what I wanted. 😉
Right now and going forward, I’m focusing on games that are mostly single-player, with only the occasional co-op title—that’s what I enjoy these days.
Transport Fever 2 (and soon 3), as well as Astroneer and Helldivers 2, have been the games I’ve enjoyed the most over the past few years.
There are also a few “roguelike” titles, but those are just occasional diversions for me when I want to do something relatively mindless. 😁

Guild Wars 2 habe ich nun für mich beendet und sehr wahrscheinlich nicht nur wieder sondern für immer.
War eine schöne Zeit welche ich in dieser fiktiven Welt verbracht habe während der letzten paar Jahre, meistens alleine weil so gewollt. 😉
Aktuell wie auch zukünftig ist mein Fokus auf Spieltitel mit zumeist Einzelspieler sowie nur vereinzelt CoOp-Titel ausgerichtet, das ist mittlerweile was mir Spaß macht.
Transport Fever 2 & (bald 3) sowie Astroneer und Helldivers2 sind seit ein paar Jahren jene Spieltitel welche mir am meisten Freude bereiten.
Daneben existieren zwar noch einige "Rogue Like" -Titel, diese sind jedoch nur gelegentliche Aktionen für mich wenn ich mal relativ stumpf irgendwas machen will. 😁

Had a really fun evening in #GuildWars2 - trying to get Mount Maelstrom zone completion in my push to level 80.
I stumbled on something I'd never seen before - a puzzle called Dierdrie's Steps. It was great fun to climb obstacles and follow trails for a chest of nifty loot.
With that complete, I'm heading onwards to the Straits of Devastation!

So I'll be maining her from now on, as she should have not only higher damage but much improved survivability thanks to a proper tank pet (my mech) and constant heals and barriers. Needs to be played in melee alongside my Mech, but it's a fun rotation and the Mech looks great.
