AMD/Xilinx 7-series GTP question:

Has anyone used 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceivers to link GTPs of two Artix 7 FPGAs on different boards?

In other words, I'm interested in using the transceiver as a "raw" optical interface at, say, 5 to 6 Gbps line rate, within the GTP specifications, rather than the 10.3125 Gbps that would be used for 10G Ethernet.
This obviously depends on the transceiver to be dumb, like an SR or LR, and not reformat the signal, do WDM, etc.

GTPases have long been considered key examples of undruggable proteins. While this has been overcome for K-Ras using #CovalentInhibitors, for many other family member #DrugDevelopment has not been shown.

Congratulations to Johannes Morstein on winning one of the @GDCh_BioChem Young Scientist Awards for his work addressing this challenge by identifying druggable, allosteric pockets in several GTPases.

Я пользуюсь ИИ при написании текстов. Честно говоря, не считаю это чем-то плохим, потому что, по моему мнению, главное — это то, ради чего текст пишется: если читатель узнал что-то новое, то цель достигнута. Но, к сожалению, статья, написанная ИИ, выглядит скучной, гладкой и, несмотря на любую идею внутри, вызывает у читателя отторжение. Поэтому сегодня в этой теме я задался вопросом, какие паттерны говорят о том, что текст писал ИИ, а не человек, и почему человеку эти паттерны не нравятся? Всё это, конечно, субъективно. Например, я определяю по ощущениям: где-то к третьему абзацу статьи просто понимаю, что это писал ИИ. Вежливый «ЧатГПТ», брызжущий метафорами (чаще поверхностными) «Дипсик», логичный до наивности «Клод», оптимистичный «Грок» — разницы нет. ИИ и всё. Итак, сегодня моя цель формализовать паттерны среднего чистого (без промптов) ИИ и сделать промпт, который позволит определить то, насколько заданный текст похож на творчество ИИ. Почему не определить автора? Потому что я знаю людей, которые пишут, как ЧатГПТ-мини: реально гладкий, поверхностный текст, никаких резких поворотов и углублений. И знаю, как может писать ИИ под хорошим промптом. Так что давайте я просто попытаюсь определить наиболее распространенные паттерны моделей, которые можно выделить в тексте.

I've long had the experience of running some general Web search, without explicitly using my identity or website(s) in search terms, and turning up Younger Me's posts on that topic.

A few days ago I had the experience of asking a GPT a question, and having it cite as supporting evidence a two-week-old HN comment I'd written.

Which was surprising in two ways. I wasn't aware that training data was that recent (and it's quite possible that instead the model was running a Web query itself using keywords and concepts from my question). As well as having myself thrown back at me.

It's a small ... World Wide Web, I suppose.

(Insert also observation that your queries do reveal a great deal about yourself, and are all but certainly a highly valuable bit of intel. AdTech is only one consumer of that...)
