  3. Woke up to a beautiful launch of the #GSLV carrying NVS-02. Some lovely pictures and on-board views.

Seeing launch vehicle failures from 2005 to 2010 makes me very afraid of watching these launches. I hope this launch changes that trend.

Happy for what ISRO calls 100th launch from Sriharikota.

  5. @ast_spacemobile's launch campaign will be in 📆 2025 and 2026 and involve the deployment of roughly 60 next-generation Block 2 #BlueBird satellites 🛰️ . #BlueOrigin said #NewGlenn will launch "multiple" such satellites but did not say how many missions are involved. reuters.com/technology/space/b

#India’s #GSLV is first up and will launch a single Block 2 BlueBird. Two #SpaceX #Falcon9 rockets carrying four Block 2 BlueBirds each would probably come next spacenews.com/ast-spacemobile-

  6. 🇪🇺 #Nyx is compatible with #Ariane6, #Falcon9, #Neutron, #H3, and #GSLV. The "#Bikini" reentry demonstrator was intended to demonstrate the company's #reentry technology. Unfortunately, #Ariane6's upper stage failed on its deorbit burn, so the Bikini capsule remains stuck in space. The current timeline for Nyx's debut is 📆 2028 arstechnica.com/space/2024/11/

  12. The discourse around #Chandrayaan3 is frighteningly sad, so much jingoism and hyper-nationalism instead of celebrating the wonderful scientific and technological feat. I really miss the discussions around the technicalities #pslv (and to some extent #gslv) launches usually fostered. #satellites

  13. #SpaceX launched 40 #OneWeb #satellites 🛰️, 578 of the planned 648 have been launched. Originally, OneWeb’s satellites were being launched by #Arianespace and #Roscosmos atop the #Soyuz. In 📆 2022, also due to the conflict in #Ukraine 🇺🇦, OneWeb moved these launches over to SpaceX’s #Falcon 9 and #ISRO’s 🇮🇳 #GSLV Mk. III nasaspaceflight.com/2023/03/on
