People try their best, this is an aimless grumble.
See when well meaning Multiple Sclerosis groups email with a “We’d love your opinion on Y” and they give absolutely no reminders as to how you may have known about or signed up to Y in the first place. My goodness it’s a lot.
Thanks for the reminder that my memory is shot and the homework to validate who you are before I do the thing you wanted me to do.
Especially when they have vague, easy to forget names!

What is it with companies and organizations sending 3-4 emails PER DAY around the holidays? Don't they realize that makes me want to unsubscribe and never buy from/donate to them ever again? Are there people who AREN'T annoyed by multiple emails per day?

I really like the readability of the Mastodon App for Android. But the "Duplicate Post" bug is quite irritating. Its been hanging around for the past year or so. So I stick with the venerable, but still awesome Moshidon.
I figure that available resources probably go towards the iOS app first... but ....
... grumble grumble.

Ugh. Git.
I've been using it for 20 years, and it still frustrates me every time. I spent hours trying to rebase some code to the top of trunk, got it all just perfect, pushed it, and github tells me none of it can be merged. I've spent almost as much time trying to push bits through git as I did writing the thing in the first place.
How can it be this hard and still this popular?
