The #farmers are important. You have to dialogue with them. You have to interact with them. There must be policies that they can meet without breaking their wallets or negatively affecting their businesses and yet won't compromise on the things we on the left want.
There's a way to have environmental issues addressed, animal welfare addressed, fair labour etc. without high costs to farmers and food producers.
Farmers see you as a collective enemy. That has to stop. The #farright are opportunistic roaches trying to link farmers' grievances with immigrants, écolos, la gauche, lgbt or whatever excuses for their misery.
It's not about taking on centrist or rightwing policies, it's about working with farmers to get the stuff that protects the planet animals and people
