The local cannabis grow-op fly-tipping distribution system did its job again overnight and we've got another ~700L of compost and lots more of those cute fabric grow bags (though we don't have much of a need of those really), all found in a nearby lay-by. They damaged a fence dumping them though.
Interestingly, almost to the day since the last time - I guess they have an annual clear out.

I needed two jubilee clips so I went to my local car parts place, which is now closed on Sundays.
So I went to Wickes, which only sells small ones.
So I went on a dog walk and, in the undergrowth next to a reservoir, amongst some fly-tipped cannabis grow-op detritus, I found two beautiful stainless steel jubilee clips of exactly the right size.
I get so much good stuff from grow-op fly tipping, I might set up an official tipping area at the top of the drive for them.

Another ex-grow-op providing some free compost. This one dumped within wheel-barrowing distance of home - very convenient (except for our drive being very steep).
The compost does have some unidentifiable water retaining granules and came in individual fabric root bags, which while quite cute are made of recycled plastic so overall, a bit wary of the microplastics here. Will use for non food growing. The last grow op we recovered, we got loads of large high quality pots!
