今天 = Day 118

It's been with me 4 months now. Still alive. Looking perky. Color/variegation good. There are only 6 leaves left and there hasn't been any new growth in 2 months.

Is it too perky? In pictures I've seen, pothos #plants grow low and look very relaxed.

I have a #GrowLight indirectly shining on it 12 hours a day.

Switch to just the blue light? Move the light closer? 🤔 @plants

I'm gonna lose 2 beautiful large #pothos leaves? ☹️ *sigh*

Something I don't understand though: why now the leaves and their petioles are so erect and very close together whereas when I first got it they 🍃 were opening/spreading outward. 😕

Alas, I don't have an outdoors* for the #Tillandsia. Outdoors will leave it a victim to stray #cats. I'll turn the #GrowLight 💡 up a bit. Perhaps that'll make it happy. 😶

Bummed about the yellowing leaf 🍂 but so happy to see new growth 🌱 and its progress. 😊❤️

📝 Started with #GrowLight 💡🔅 on for ~12 hours @ dim setting yesterday. (I used to only give it only 4 hours. Sometimes nada.)

Um... Is it just me or is my pothos looking much too perky / stretchy?

I've learned when to 💧 it. Sometimes after 5 days, sometimes after 8 days. I wait for the 🍃 to start drooping, which means it's been thirsty. It perks right up after watering.

Yellowing + too perky 🤔
Give it some #GrowLight 💡 love.

今天 = Day 28 / 7

A few days ago the 3rd young leaf had to be amputated. It was hopeless. Now the 2nd young leaf is starting to look burnt.

I dunno. 🤔 It's never in very bright light. Today I'll skip the indirect/reflected #GrowLight. Let's just pretend that it's mostly overcast today. *hush* 😉

Pothos 🍃 looking droopy. ☹️ But due to the dead 🟡🍃, I should probably leave it be.

☝️ No water for now. Me thinks the weekly watering (though minimal 💧) made that 1 🍃 turn 🟡. Saw an article that says let the soil dry out completely (not just the top inch). 🤷‍♀️

☝️ Reposition #GrowLight & adjust setting.

Today = Day 10 evening 🍃💧

I just noticed. The tips of the larger leaves are starting to brown. They look a little droopy too, I think. 😣

Don't know what to do with it. 🤷‍♀️ I think it's about time I water it. I'm also thinking tomorrow I should start leaving the #GrowLight on for 8 hours. It's very low, indirect light anyway.

Still not watered since Day Zero.
Tiny, albeit annoying, spots on 3 of the leaves.
Variegation & color looking good.

Day 9 vs Day 10.
Yup. It's very much alive. 😊

New growth is unraveling! 🍃❤️
Same #GrowLight intensity/duration.
Still not watered since Day Zero.
Other than the tiny spots on 3 of the larger leaves, it's looking healthy & happy.
Variegation & color still looking muy bueno.

I'm thinking I'll prop it higher & try training it to go up and over, along the wall, across the sink. 🤔

Best article with #illustrations I've found re: #pothos https://planthardware.com/propagate-pothos-illustrated-guide/ It doesn't define the part of the petiole that browns/peels. I'll just call it "sleeve".

Today the end leaf's sleeve had curled away. 🤔

Noticed a couple of new* yellow/brown spots! 😣

Did some Googling again and got conflicting* info. Does it want higher #humidity or not?! 🤷‍♀️

💧 Not watered since Day Zero. Daily 4-hour indirect 💡 #GrowLight at low setting in addition to 🌤️ outdoor reflected light coming through high window.

Variegation & color still good. 🌱

Got a li'l fan blowing near it for a few hours. It's in the bathroom. Extra humid sometimes. 🤷‍♀️
