Some of my green shiso plants have started flowering. I'm saving their seeds to share.
Grow both green & red shiso to boost your cultural herbal/culinary gardens diversity.

*Red shiso has a more bitter taste & is better cooked up in soups/stews/stir fry foods. Green shiso is milder & better for adding to fresh salads.

I have a bunch of these free peat seed starters & am making them into guerilla seed-ball bombs by adding some compost soil/clay & assortment of native plant seeds & herbs/food plant seeds. They'll be easy to throw out, from my scooter or car window.
