I planted a Fuyu persimmon tree three years ago. It was then two to three year old. This year for the first time it bore fruit. Many of them. I was overjoyed when I saw them in May, but sadly they never got bigger. I finally decided to take them off the tree this morning, and there are about two hundred... I'm pretty sure that I needed to take many of them off the tree when they started to form. They still taste great though! Snack size!

Tomatoes, peaches and apples. This is the first year of harvesting the tree fruit 🍎 So glad we planted them right when we moved here. #groweverything #backyardfarming
